Medical and Pharmaceutical Translations - Vanessa Martínez Pérez - Freelancer My name is Vanessa Martínez and I am an extremely driven, dedicated and devoted English/French/Italian into Spanish Translator. My story started when I finished my Translation Studies in September 2005, at which point I relocated to the UK to ameliorate my English and get my career started. Since then, I have been deeply involved in the Localisation Industry, both as a Translator but also as a highly successful Project Manager for two leading Language Service Providers. Moreover, I completed an online Master’s in Medical and Health Translation through the Universitat Jaume I in Spain during my tenure at these companies. I managed to balance life as a Project Manager and a Translator for around 4 years before taking the plunge and began translating full-time, I have not looked back since. I  predominately specialise in medical & pharmaceutical translations, particularly documentation related to ongoing clinical trials, medical devices or submissions to the European Medicines Agency for a new medicinal product.   I have worked for numerous  P harmaceutical  C ompanies, Contract Research  Organisations , Healthcare Providers and more .  However, this is not the limit of my interests or capabilities, as I also have experience in more technical industries, together with creative fields like cosmetics or textiles.
