Description

MicroConstants, Inc. We are a Contract Research Organization (CRO) that provides premier quality GLP-compliant bioanalytical research services, IND-enabling drug metabolism (DMPK) assays, pharmacokinetic analysis, ELISA immunoassay and biomarker analysis services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies developing new chemical entities (NCEs) worldwide. We specialize in method development, method validation, and sample analysis of small molecules, proteins, and peptides using LC/MS/MS, HPLC/UV, and ELISA for preclinical and clinical drug development studies. The company also assembles and distributes customized specimen collection kits for all types of clinical trials conducted throughout the world. It was founded in 1998 in San Diego, California by Gilbert Lam, Ph.D., a veteran in pharmaceutical development and a scientist trained in the field of pharmacokinetics. We have since grown to become one of the largest bioanalytical LC/MS/MS laboratories on the West Coast of the United States occupying 34,000 square feet of office and laboratory space, 2,000 square feet of archive and storage space, and housing 16 LC/MS/MS systems. In 2007, the company expanded its operations internationally when Dr. Lam co-founded MicroConstants China Inc. in Beijing, China to meet the growing demand of pharmaceutical development being outsourced to Asia. The China facility adopted our quality systems and has been GLP-compliant since April 2009. Our laboratories in San Diego and Beijing are both fully compliant with USFDA, OECD, and MHLW Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
