Boston Open Labs Boston Open Labs (BOL) is a privately held, well-funded company located in the greater Boston area. BOL focuses on providing pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies specialty biological molecules, including DNA/RNA oligonucleotides, peptides, proteins, and custom as well as contract molecular and cell biology services. Currently, the company and its 30+ employees operate in 40,000 square foot state of the art facility with (4) preparative and (8) analytical HPLCs (Waters and Varians), FPLC, MDQ capillary electrophoresis, (2) real-time PCRs (ABI ViiA7), MD M5E multi-mode microplate reader, CHEF Mapper pulse-field electrophoresis, BTX 630 and 830 electroporation systems, gel imaging systems, GE phosphorimagers, mass spectrometer (AB), (6) peptide synthesizers (symphony and 433A), (5) nucleic acid synthesizers (AB), facilities for molecular biology, cell biology, organic chemistry (~20 fume hoods), and transgenetic animal studies.   Our mission at Boston Open Labs is to provide high-quality specialty biological molecules in order to accelerate your research efficiency and productivity, so you can focus on your next novel discovery.
